Large Mantaray vs Small Mantaray?

I have smaller, metal MRII564 's

i.e.

I have wondered, what differences I might see if changing to a larger format, e.g. MR64B 's

Looking at the dispersion charts, it would seem that the larger horn achieves the rated coverage angle sooner (at lower frequency) than the smaller. This may be elementary.

Otherwise, they appear to be similar to my untrained eye.

Can anyone comment on benefits of either, and/or on what difference the change of materials (steel to plastic/noryl ?) might make?

Application is hifi, near-field-ish (8-10 ft).

The primary differences are:

The larger horn will offer better vertical coverage control down to 800Hz.
The larger horn will offer more output.
The larger horn will impress your friends.

Only one of the above is applicable in a near-field home system.
Can you guess which one?
